We have a large selection of Jewellery and specialise in Matsuno Seed beads and Swarovksi crystals.

I was born in England and migrated to Western Australia with my family in 1969. Over the years I tried my hand at many crafts. Most of them I enjoyed, some more than others, but nothing seemed to permanently hold my interest .

In the latter half of the '90s, I was injured and spent many months off work. During the brief periods of time when the pain receded, I found myself increasingly bored. Beading became my new interest as I couldn't lift anything heavier than a book, I needed something I could walk away from without having to clean up when the pain returned, and it seemed to challenge me.

When I first picked up a book on beading my world changed. I had finally found my true passion in life. The more I learned, the more I wanted to learn. It wasn't long before I left corporate life forever and started my own business designing and making jewellery. A little later, with some encouragement from my great friends, Richard and Gina Allen, I also began to design and manufacture craft kits. Over the years I have taught people many things including dancing, swimming and horse riding so when I was asked to teach beading I had no hesitation. There is nothing I like more than seeing a student "get it" and I believe I have also learned a great deal from those I have taught. For this, I sincerely thank each and every one of you.

I consider myself truly blessed that the thing that brings me such joy is also my full-time career and the source of so many life-long friends. Beading allows me to express myself on another level. I am constantly challenged to create something with the characteristics of beauty and precision, both of which appeal to my attention to detail.

I am a founding member and former president of the WA Bead Guild, which has given me the opportunity to share my craft with so many talented artists. With the encouragement of these people I have discovered that beading truly has no limits. I am constantly amazed at the new and exciting materials and techniques that are being developed and I am delighted to be involved in sharing these techniques with my friends and students.

This web site is another step on my beading journey. It is not only a business tool for me but yet another means to share the joy of my craft and to reach out and motivate still more wonderful people who wish to share my passion.
